A scan I saw a while ago was real. It looked like Mewtwo, but Pokemon's official website keeps on stating that it's a brand new Pokemon, and that he has a connection to Mewtwo, but nothing about just plain old Mew was mentioned. We didn't get any information, not even his name. Some people say it'll be called Mewthree. Also, if you go to Pokemon's YouTube channel, you can see it in action, using some of Mewtwo's signature move.
Now, for some speculation! It's a lot shorter than Mewtwo, and looks like Mew and Mewtwo's baby. Maybe a perfect clone of Mew? I'm not sure. So far, he seems like he's a psy type, and a very mysterious one at that.
